Intramezzo wins Innovation and Foundation Award for Cambridge Activity |

Intramezzo was one of three ‘Innovation and Foundation Award’ winners at the recent Cambridge100 Annual Awards dinner.
The award was presented to Intramezzo on behalf of the Cambridge100 by Michael Marshall Chairman and CEO of the Marshall Group, for the work one of the directors, Dermot Hill, within the Cambridge region. This work has been delivered over the last 18 months to establish the Cambridge 100 – a group of senior freelance executives formed to address the region’s venturing activity.
Other Innovation and Foundation Awards were made to Eversheds and Ashton Penney.
During the evening, Cambridge100 Awards were also presented to the winners of the most outstanding projects delivered by its members for the year.

Best Example of an Interim Project – Runner Up, awarded to Malcolm Ladkin
Cambridge is among the top technology clusters in Europe and access to this type of virtual and organised network is to become a major regional asset.
Dermot Hill of Intramezzo states “For the UK to increase the creation of world-class technologies and to build successful new companies there needs to be fast and effective access to senior executive talent. Intramezzo provides this access for Universities, Corporates and Government Laboratories. Harnessing this less structured part of the business community is an important step in making the British economy more agile and globally competitive.”
Intramezzo has almost 1,000 senior freelance executives; many of whom are available at short notice and come with exceptional track records in the areas of leadership, venture launch spinouts and fundraising. The company is building a specialist Spinout register - Spintal. It has an international client base into which it places ‘C’ level appointments to make a difference at the critical point of a ventures growth.
