Equity and Contingency Programmes Launch |
Two new services for the UK's innovative Venturing sector are launched by Intramezzo.
To capitalise on the considerable entrepreneurial talent within Intramezzo's register, the company launches two new services to address the challenges of building successful ventures.
Over 40% of the executives registered through the company's portal have indicated that they will work on a contingency basis and 35% will work on an equity only basis.

Two new services for the UK's innovative Venturing sector are launched by Intramezzo.
To capitalise on the considerable entrepreneurial talent within Intramezzo's register, the company launches two new services to address the challenges of building successful ventures.
Over 40% of the executives registered through the company's portal have indicated that they will work on a contingency basis and 35% will work on an equity only basis.
The contingency service addresses the short term strategic project where there are measurable milestones - Intramezzo agrees with the executive tasked to the project and the client a suitable uplift on the normal fees charged.
The equity only projects will involve a sound business proposition with medium term aspirations. Shares would be allocated on the basis of the value added contribution of the executive or executives deployed and agreed at the outset of the project. A mix of the two programmes is also possible where this fits the client's objectives.
Dermot Hill, the Director responsible for these new services at Intramezzo states, "In the medium term it is possible to envisage a number of millionaires being achieved through this 'equity' only programme."
These performance linked services have been developed to respond to the growing demand from the UK's venturing sector which includes universities, corporate venturing units and spinouts in general.
This announcement follows the recent launch of the company's specialist spinout talent register Spintal. The register also tracks details of business angels and management buy in candidates to introduce external funds, linked directly to management expertise.
Dermot Hill states, "These two services are designed to bring a wealth of freelance executive talent into contact with new technologies for organisations wanting to capitalise on their potential in an increasingly agile and globalised market."
For the freelance executive with the confidence to enter into this programme there is the opportunity to earn increased fees, or in the case of the equity programme, realise a capital gain. Clients reduce the initial financial outlay in return for attracting a highly experienced executive, who is often a name with venture capitalists and investors, through serial performance.
Intramezzo's role as market maker will involve the judicious development of projects which attract high calibre candidates. Intramezzo's project fees will be directly linked to the performance of the freelance executives deployed.
The company's traditional revenue streams derived from the deployment of executives using a day rate will remain.
