Managing Director – Green Energy North England Competitive Salary and Package Plus Share Options
Our client is a privately owned international group specialising in green energy generation and management. This pioneering group has enjoyed phenomenal growth both organically and through acquisition to establish itself at the forefront of innovation and the marketplace. The £10million turnover energy management business, acquired by the group several years ago, providing energy efficiency products and services primarily to Developers and Housing Associations, is looking for an experienced Managing Director to spearhead the next phase of growth. The role will focus on the development and deployment of integrated, renewable energy solutions within the built environment, expanding both the product and service offering to capitalise on all commercial opportunities. Furthermore, as a result of the increasing demand the individual will work across the group to roll out the model internationally. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of delivering business growth within the green energy/sustainability sector and an understanding of the changing regulations governing this area and its impact across the development and social housing arena, both in the UK and Internationally. Importantly you will consistently evaluate these points and the strategic implications. In this way, you will ensure the Group maintains its position at the vanguard of sustainability and green energy. You will be an experienced Managing Director or equivalent and have had full P&L responsibility. You will have strong business acumen and will take the lead in driving the development of commercial relationships with clients and partners to create long term profitable business growth, in line with the strategic business plan and budgets.
This unique role offers an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join an established and ambitious organisation, not only driving the continuing success of the energy management business but also playing an instrumental role in shaping the focus of the group moving forward.
